Description
Pre-owned, excellent condition Omega watch from 1964 with reference 161.021. Contains a reliable Automatic movement. All of our watches come with our trouble-free 12 months warranty, general terms & conditions apply.
The Seamaster De Ville featured a more refined design aimed to attract the golden youth of the sixties, especially on the American market. Apart from its refined design, the main characteristic introduced by the Seamaster de Ville was the presence of a ‘unishell’ case design that opens from the front, with a case made of only three parts (the main case, the crystal and the bezel) to enforce water resistance. The Seamaster de Ville was advertised as waterproof to 200 feet.
Price-wise, the Omega Seamaster de Ville was a bit more expensive than a regular Seamaster, sitting somewhere between the Seamaster and the Constellation in period catalogues.

Additional: 1964 year approximation based off serial number. Watch is in excellent sharp condition for age and is an excellent opportunity to own a vintage Omega with the opportunity of investing in gold at the same time. This watch has approximately 11 grams of 18K gold in it. Because of the square face, it is also known as a ‘Doctor’s watch’. Fabulous and classy watch and really flat.
Please check the pictures carefully. They were taken with a high quality camera to show all possible angles and the condition of the watch.
