What is a vintage watch?

A vintage watch is a timeless masterpiece that embodies the charm of a bygone era. It refers to a watch that was crafted at least 20 years ago, with it a sense of history and craftsmanship that modern timepieces often lack. Vintage watches capture the essence of an era, reflecting the design trends and technical achievements of their time. They possess a certain character and patina that can only be acquired through the passage of time. For people who appreciate the nostalgia and heritage of a bygone era, a vintage watch is more than just a timekeeping device: it is a statement of style and individuality. Each vintage watch has its own story to tell, and by owning one, you become a part of that captivating narrative.

This statement will also include details of the work that has been carried out by our watchmakers.

Is my watch covered by warranty?

We thoroughly inspect every watch before offering it through our store and, when necessary, ensure that it is fully serviced. However, sometimes defects arise and therefore we offer a 12-month warranty on each watch purchased. This warranty covers solely mechanical defects (related to the movement) and excludes issues arising from normal wear and tear, accidents, or improper use.

Excluded from the warranty are, among other, the waterproofness of the watch, as well as breaking/loss of the glass, winding stem, winding crown, spring, buttons and pushers and such, and the strap/bracelet. Also excluded is damage caused by falling/bumping of the watch or through the presence of dirt or moisture in the watch.

The warranty is non-transferable and only valid to the original purchaser. The warranty is void if the watch or movement is tampered with by an unauthorized party.
